Easter Sunday is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead as described in the New Testament.  It is the culmination of Lent and Holy Week.

We gather in joy to celebrate the rising of Christ – the promise that life is stronger than death and that renewal is always possible.

As it is the first Sunday of the month, our celebration will continue with a shared community lunch. Cold meats will be provided. Feel free to bring a salad or dessert to accompany the meal if you wish. Helpers in the kitchen afterwards will be most welcome 🙂
