Official start for Uniting Church Minister

In the Uniting Church, an induction service is a formal ceremony marking the official start of a minister’s role. We welcome Rev John Power with a celebratory and public acknowledgement of the new minister’s calling and appointment to Stonnington Community Uniting Church.

The service is led by the Presbytery, which is the ultimate governing body overseeing the minister’s work. The congregation welcomes family, friends and the wider public to observe the induction service. Refreshments will be provided afterwards in the hall adjacent to the Church.
