A Prayer of Opening to the Sacred Mind of God

Mind of all minds, Source from which all awareness flows,
From the trembling of a quark to the dreaming of galaxies, you are present.

We open ourselves to the deep consciousness of God.

You are not bound to the fixed and lifeless,
But are revealed in the living current of thought, feeling, and becoming.

We open our hearts to your living presence in all things.

In every mind—human, creature, river, or star—your knowing shimmers,
Calling us into communion with all that is aware.

We open our eyes to see your light in every mind.

Christ, you came as the embodiment of divine awareness,
Walking the world as the union of matter and Spirit,
Awakening us to the truth that all is alive in you.

We open our spirits to your awakening breath.

In the pulse of the seasons, in the slow growth of forests,
In the silent watch of mountains and the song of birds, you think and dream.

We open our senses to your dreaming creation.

Through the evolution of the cosmos, you stretch your mind into new forms,
Inviting us to think your thoughts, to feel your love,
To join the great web of awareness that is your very being.

We open our will to the unfolding of your wisdom.

May we recognise you in the smallest flicker of life,
In the stillness between heartbeats,
In the vast unfolding of the universe’s mind.

We open ourselves to the sacred communion of all minds.

A Prayer Celebrating Holy Mind

Before the first light, you dreamed in the dark,
And the dream became the world.

We awaken in your dreaming.

You are the quiet fire inside the stone,
The listening at the root of all things.

We hear your hidden voice.

In the flight of galaxies, in the shimmer of a moth’s wing,
Your mind dances in every motion.

We see your thought made flesh.

Christ, pulse of the cosmos,
You walked as the knowing of God in human skin,
Teaching us the speech of the heart.

We breathe your living word.

You are the deep memory in the mountain,
The restless wonder in the sea.

We move in your ancient rhythm.

Through the long unfolding of time,
You weave consciousness into stars and song.

We join the great communion of minds.

Even in silence, even in darkness,
You are the presence within presence,
The life within life.

We rest in your eternal knowing.
